FAQ

What's difference between Video-Tabs and Tutorials?

I offer two types of guitar learning formats on my sites: Video-Tabs (available on my site with tabs) and Tutorials (like the one you’re viewing now).

Video-Tabs are a minimalist format that includes a performance of the arrangement at slow and normal tempos with on-screen tablature. These are usually presented in a single 10–15 minute YouTube video, or occasionally as a playlist of shorter clips.

Tutorials, on the other hand, are a more advanced and user-friendly version based on the Video-Tabs format. Structured as a mini course, the song is divided into multiple sections and shorter videos. Each bar is demonstrated at a very slow tempo, making every movement easy to see. In addition, Tutorials include written instructions and tips focused on the more challenging parts of the song.

This format makes the learning process much more effective, comfortable, and organized. You can easily navigate through the arrangement, progress step by step, and avoid the need to constantly rewind longer videos.

What do I need to start the tutorial?

You will need:

• A laptop/PC, tablet, or smartphone to access the course. A computer or tablet is preferred for better visibility and control.
• An acoustic guitar – either steel or nylon strings will work.
• A stable internet connection, as this is an online course.

Also, depending on your country, you may need a VPN on your device. The course videos are hosted on Vimeo (a platform for streaming high-quality videos), which is currently banned due to government regulations and censorship in the following countries: China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. I recommend checking the availability of Vimeo in your region beforehand.

Can I try it before buying?

Yes — you can check out a free sample lesson here. It will give you a clear idea of the tutorial format and what to expect.

Is it possible to download the tutorial?

No — this tutorial is available exclusively online and can only be accessed through your personal account after enrollment.
However, you can download the guitar tabs (PDF and Guitar Pro files) for offline practice.

Is it necessary to be able to read sheet music?

No, reading standard sheet music isn’t required. However, it’s highly recommended to be familiar with reading tablature (tabs), as it will help you learn faster and more easily than trying to copy everything directly from the video demonstrations.
